Compact Distance Sensor with Integrated Switch Relays

LPR^®-1DXi: reliable and robust 1D-distance measurement

LPR^®-1DXi, a compact sensor that features integrated switch relays, is easy to install and commission. Typical applications include crane anti-collision systems.

LPR^®-1DXi sensors measure the distance by calculating the duration of 5.8 GHz wireless signal via the round trip time between two devices. The maintenance-free sensors, which feature integrated antennas, can withstand harsh weather, dirt and vibrations. Since no exact alignment is required before bringing the measurement units online, installation is fast and easy.

The devices are configured using the Symeo-1D Wizard software and the wireless connection between the two sensor units. Up to seven triggers can be defined based on the position and speed of the sensors. The measurement data and switching contacts can be accessed on both LPR^®-1DXi units.

Symeo LPR^® technology uses the international license-free ISM band. WiFi data networks can be operated in parallel at any time without the risk of interference.
